I should start this by telling you that we co-sleep and my 11 month old DS nurses throughout the night still. I didn’t start using cloth until my DS was about 6 months old. We use gDiapers during the day and love them but they cannot hold up overnight. I tried a few different cloth diapers trying to find one that would work well without looking ridiculously huge.

My dear friend, Danielle, introduced me to the Bamboo Bum. My first thought when I touched this diaper was “O my, this is sooooo soft! Can I get undies made out of this??” Lol.

I immediately prepped them for that night’s trial.

There are quite a few snaps on the Bamboo Bum in order to get a perfect fit on any size baby so it’s a little tricky to do it for the first time on a wiggler like mine but I got him into it.

The Bamboo Bum comes with a regular and a super sized soaker included so I used the longer overnight soaker and put him to bed. The next morning (a solid 12 hours later!), the sheets were dry and we were both very happy campers!

Since that day, I try to put him in Bamboo Bums every night and I’m sad when he has to wear another brand to bed (and I put 3 inserts in other brands because I don’t trust them so DS looks very big butted!)

Not only does this fit my DS now at 25 pounds, it would have fit him at 8 and will continue to fit him up to possibly 40!! Plus, we can use this next summer as a swim diaper and the summer after that as a trainer!!
