With Zealand, there was just so much to read and search! I needed a carseat, a stroller a crib! I however did not pre-shop for a nursing bra or nursing clothing at all! Gap sells medela (but not the Gap here locally) so I went with Target and Wal-mart bras. I eventually travelled to the Gap that sells maternity and bought 2 nursing bras. I bought the soft ones without underwire because I had heard that the underwire could cause issues with breastmilk and lead to possible mastitis. The bras, did the trick, they held them up but it was not pretty. It was not supportive and they literally fell apart with each wash. They were not made to last for as long as I wanted to nurse. They were made of nursing bra FAIL.
There wasn't much time between Zealand nursing and the arrival of Kingsley and I had ALOT of researching to do. I found Bravado and their nursing tanks and I found them ON SALE! Not everything that costs alot, is worth it as I had just found out with the Medela bras. I also wanted a bra that I didn't have to change mid day; due to where I was going or what I was doing. So, I bought two from the babycenter.com store before they closed down. I should have bought 10, if I would have known then, what I know now.
Right after I got home from the hospital I started wearing them. I love the way the tank cradled my belly and helped it not jiggle, it kept it secure and I liked it. There was quite a bit of cleavage that peeked out of the top of the size I had purchased but hey anyone that has a D/DD tank surely has that issue. I love how trim the tank is and that I can throw a shirt on top of it and not only feel supported, I feel good! My belly never, ever hangs out when I'm nursing, noone ever sees a thing! I have since purchased more in an E/F which has about an inch more fabric in the v part of the neckline....which although the fit is a tad looser than the D/DD, it shows almost zero cleavage and is nice when I am only wearing the tank.
I am one of those people that wears a tank under all my shirts anyway, even before I ever got pregnant. This is THE way to do that. I can not even remember a day in the last 11 months that I have not worn this tank. The "girls" are just exactly where they need to be snug as a bug with AWESOME support!! I now have 5 and I wish I had more. I hang dry them, in hopes that they may last me as long as Kingsley wants to nurse.
Quick breakdown: very supportive even for LARGE bewbs and made to last!
Can you tell I LOVE them?
I contacted Bravado, told them how much I loved them and they generously offered my readers a chance to win one too!

While I would love to try their Original Nursing Bra in Bamboo and their Essential Nursing Bra Tank in Bamboo, they don't have my size in either! But I think the normal versions of either would work well for me. I just love bamboo!
