Yard Sale and Craigslist

So, the time and effort we thought we saved by doing a rush move, turned out to be a bust. We still don't have the date in our hand in which Christian will start and now, I have no job. I have put my application online to a couple of restaurants, but I certainly do NOT want to do what I just did at my last job...which is to leave them high and dry.
Once Christian starts the academy, it will be tough. He will not want to be spending his free moments playing and diaper changing. He will need to be studying and exercising. I will truly become a stay at home mom. I'm so used to him coming home with bravado and jumping right in to duty.

I am having a yard sale, starting tomorrow morning. Christian and I have also listed some big ticket items on Craigslist, in hopes to make our next month's rent and car payment. I sold the jogging stroller, I recently won, for $85 today. That is 20% of our car payment. Both of our moms have agreed to help this month while we wait in limbo.

I remember living paycheck to paycheck in my early 20s. I loved it! Doing this with children however, is not fun.
Please keep us in your thoughts as we move through this difficult time....hoping we can run through it instead of walk!

Just received a check for $500.

Sometimes people don't believe me when I tell them about how much money you can earn by taking paid surveys online...

So I took a video of myself getting paid $500 for participating in paid surveys to set the record straight once and for all.
